I so agree with this sentiment. Schools are not designed to educate to the needs of the child.
I am a big proponent of finding the best places to learn and building your own plans versus having someone tell you what you should learn.
Most of what they teach, we never use. And today schools are much worse than they have even been, including the best schools.
Look at classical education and how we used to teach our best and brightest.
