I read Strauss years ago when it first came out and then again when Bannon said it was his favorite book. I liked it at the conceptual level but am struggling to see it play out in the real world. I prefer Zeihan because it really seems like his crystal ball is polished nicely. I'll read Strauss' follow-up, of course.
